The Round Robin draw determines your opponent for each fantasy round.
Weekly Selections
Prior to the start of each round of the competition, it is the fantasy team managers responsibility to select their ‘run on’ team of 17 players for the round, and to set the substitutes order from the remainder of their squad.
Using the ‘Team Selection’ page, fantasy players need to nominate their 17 man run on team by filling the following positions:
- 1 x Hooker
- 2 x Props
- 2 x Second Row
- 1 x Lock Forward
- 1 x Halfback
- 1 x Five-Eighth
- 2 x Centres
- 2 x Wingers
- 1 x Fullback
- 2 x Bench Forwards (Interchange)
- 2 x Bench Backs (Interchange)
- 1 Primary Goal Kicker (from the run on 17 players)
- 1 Secondary Goal Kicker (from the run on 17 players)
Only one of the goal kickers will be assigned points for goals. If the primary kicker scores NO goals, then the secondary kicker goals will be used.
The run on squad is ‘remembered’ by the system each week. So, if you forget to setup your team each week, the same run on 17 players from the prior week will be used.
TIP: For weeks where NRL byes wreak havoc on the draw, it is not necessary to enter a full run on team, although the more players you can field, the better your chance of winning the round! Your opponents will likely be in the same predicament with player availability as you!
Automatic Substitutions
If you have a full squad of 25 players, there will be 8 players left over each week that can be used as a late substitute.
Due to late drop outs in named teams by clubs, we allow a substitute to take their place automatically from within your full squad. This will only occur if the run on player was not officially named in the real match. If a run on player in your fantasy team is named in a team and gets zero minutes game time, then he scores zero for the round.
The 18th man concussion rule is also catered for by the game model. If an 18th man rule is invoked by a club, the incoming player will be eligible to score fantasy points for your team for the period of the game he is on the field.
The actual players to be substituted are determined firstly by order, then by position. All 8 substitutes should be ordered 1 through 8 in the substitutes section of the Team Selection page. The first available player for the position that dropped will be used.
